Avenue9 is hiring a tech-forward marketing apprentice who wants to learn AI-assisted content marketing, podcast production, and help small businesses market like big brands. You will edit and publish podcasts; repurpose blogs and transcripts into emails, LinkedIn posts, and social; schedule and distribute across HubSpot and WordPress; and help run simple marketing automations. You will work 10 to 15 hours per week; flexibility is fine if you hit deadlines.
What You Will Learn
- AI-assisted content production and scalable storytelling.
- HubSpot CRM and marketing automations; work toward relevant HubSpot certifications.
- Practical AEO concepts and prompt engineering for marketing use cases.
- How a fractional CMO shop runs strategy, production, and distribution with human-first AI tactics.
Role Overview
You will operate as a hands-on Human-First AI Marketing Apprentice who supports production today and levels up quickly. You will edit and publish podcasts; repurpose long-form content into emails, LinkedIn posts, and social clips; schedule and distribute across HubSpot, WordPress, and podcast platforms; and help manage an AI-assisted content engine. The right apprentice advances into one of two tracks over time:
- Junior Strategist who can manage a client with light guidance.
- Marketing Technical Specialist who runs AI systems and workflows; builds basic integrations; explores data science tasks independently.
What You Will Do
- Edit, package, and publish podcasts for Human-First AI Marketing and Coach2Scale.
- Repurpose blogs, transcripts, and interviews into LinkedIn posts, email newsletters, and short-form social.
- Use AI tools to reformat content, improve quality, and personalize by audience segment.
- Schedule and distribute content across HubSpot, WordPress, Buzzsprout, and social channels.
- Update website pages and posts in WordPress; apply basic SEO checklists and internal linking.
- Build and maintain simple workflows in HubSpot; support list hygiene, tagging, and reporting.
- Track basic performance metrics; highlight insights; propose test ideas or improvements.
- Document processes; keep our playbooks current; flag risks before they become issues.
You Are
- A college student or recent grad in marketing, communications, data, or technology; junior college students welcome.
- Technically savvy and curious, you learn new tools quickly and automate repeatable work.
- Detail-oriented and reliable; you follow checklists and ship on time.
- A clear communicator who can take a brief, ask smart clarifying questions, and show work.
- Comfortable working independently with periodic check-ins; mentorship is available and expected.
- Experienced with or eager to learn HubSpot, WordPress, and ChatGPT; specific tools are less important than your willingness to learn and your bias to build.
Logistics
- Compensation: $20/hour as a 1099 contractor.
- Time: 10 to 15 hours per week; up to 60 hours per month. Flexible schedule; focus on results over face-to-face time.
- Location: Remote, US-based only.
